Hinged Steel Slat Conveyor Belt Chain Driven for Metal Scrap Handling, Recycling, and Forging

General Introduction

Hinged Steel Slat Conveyor Belt is a continuous belt designed for heavy-duty applications made of individual steel plates / pans hinge linked together for metal scraps and recycling, forging and many other uses. Steel slat conveyor belt is also known as Scrap Conveyor Belt due to its popular use in metal scrap handling.

Applications: Metal slat belts are commonly used in industries for transporting large objects, heavy materials, or sharp items that could damage other types of conveyor belts.

Typical applications: In metal scrap, recycling, forging, die casting, press work, food, medicine, manufacturing

Structure:
Steel Slat Belt is made of stainless steel or carbon steel and driven by sprocket. It is constructed of hinged slats or metal plates linked together by means of cross rods with chains in two sides.
Chains are secured by a welded washer or cotter pin at the ends of cross rods.
Side plate guard and cross flights in various combinations of height and thickness is available.

Features:
Heavy loading conveying
Heat Resistance
Easy to clean and maintain.
Can be customized in terms of size, material, and design to meet specific operational requirements.
Easily for turning belts around corners and curves, suitable for conveyor systems with bends and turns.

Design:
Metal Slat Belt: This belt consists of slats — flat metal pieces — connected side by side to form a continuous belt. The slats are typically connected with hinges or a chain mechanism at their ends, allowing the belt to flex and navigate around the conveyor system.
